Welcome to the House of Nuru! ‘Nuru’ is a Zulu word meaning ‘Place of Light’ which fits this home so perfectly. This house is where your Bali holiday meets a modern contemporary design. The beautiful garden that surrounds the house has a lush green lawn around the back and is super sheltered from the wind. The outside entertainment area around the back of the house has a large built in braai, dining table, outside couches and a coffee table, all of which is just off from the sparkling swimming pool and deck.

Upstairs
Kitchen, Dining and Living Room
The upstairs level of Nuru is where most of the entertaining will happen. The kitchen, living room and dining room are all linked in this beautiful open plan layout, all surrounded by large glass doors opening out onto the wrap around balcony overlooking the tops of the trees.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for your special stay in Kommetjie:
Gas stove and electric oven
Fridge and freezer
Kitchen sink
Dishwasher
Toaster
Hot water kettle
Nespresso machine

The dining room has a large wooden dining table for 6 guests which leads onto the balcony. The lounge has a number of well positioned seats and comfy couches around a coffee table, looking out over Kommetjie. There is also a lovely wood burning fire-place, perfect for heating up the whole of the upstairs.

TV Nook:
Just off from the kitchen is the TV nook and study corner with a couch, table and chair. The TV has access to DStv, Netflix and Showmax for when you are in need of a little down time after a day of strolling on the beach and soaking up the sun.

Guest Loo:
The guest loo just off from the kitchen has a toilet and basin.

Downstairs
Bedroom One:
King sized bed with pedestals, clothing storage space and en suite bathroom.
The en suite has a shower, basin, toilet and mirror

Bedroom Two:
Queen sized bed with bedside pedestals and built in clothes storage. The doors lead out to the patio that wraps around the house and to the braai area at the back of the house.

Outside Area & Garden
Nuru has a beautiful private garden around the back of the house which is super sheltered from the wind as it is surrounded with tall trees which also provide some shade. In the garden is a small sparkling swimming pool with a stunning wooden deck around it, leading onto the outside dining & braai area. In the garden is a semi-private outdoor shower with hot and cold water, also perfect for washing off all of the sand brought home from the beach.

Rates
Low season winter: 14 April – 14 September: R3,800 a night
(3 night minimum stay) (Peak season rates will apply to Easter weekend and 4 night minimum stay)

Mid season summer: 14 September – 14 December: R4,000 a night
(3 night minimum stay)

Peak season summer: 14 December – 14 January: R5,500 a night
(7 night minimum stay and 14 night minimum stay with Christmas and New Year)

Mid season summer: 14 January – 14 April: R4,200 a night
(3 night minimum stay)
