Welcome to one of our latest hideaways in Kommetjie! Beauty Between Boulders is an incredible family home located in Kommetjie and just off the shores of the cool Atlantic Ocean. This home was designed by the owner who decided to build his home around the nature that surrounded the area. Marc incorporated the giant boulders that lay on the ground into the planning of his home, bringing nature closer in everyday life.
As you step out of the gate at the bottom of the garden and onto the path, you end up on the beach in less than a minute. If you love spending your time on holiday on the beach without having to travel too far, this is the place for you!

Whether you come to spend your summer here, swimming in the pool and strolling along the beach, or curled up in front of the warm fireplace with a hot chocolate during winter – this home is the perfect place for your friends and family to enjoy their time in Kommetjie. We know there is nowhere better to be!

Master Bedroom:
The main bedroom has a queen sized bed and built in cupboard in the room for storing your clothes. There is a little study nook with a desk and chair that look out over the pool. The Master bedroom has a small bathroom attached to it with a basin and a private outside shower. This bright bedroom opens out onto the swimming pool and deck which allows you to walk through the garden.

Shared Bathroom:
The bathroom has a shower in one room and a toilet and basin in another room right next to it. This bathroom is shared.

Second Bedroom:
Double Bed
Single Bed
The second bedroom sleeps three guests in total. Two on the double bed and one on the single bed. It has a small work station and a cupboard for you to store your clothes and shoes in.

Second Shared Bathroom:
The bathroom has a bath in one room and a toilet and basin in another room right next to it. Both of these are also shared.

The third bedroom is a mirror image of the second bedroom. It comfortably sleeps 3 guests and has clothing storage for everyone sleeping here.

The Outside Room:
With its own separate entrance from outside, there is a fourth bedroom to this house. You enter from the garden to find yourself in a private and secluded little room, away from the rest of the house. The Queen sized bed can be converted into a sofa if you prefer the room as a second lounge. The small desk and chair make for a perfect and quiet workspace away from the rest of the house. This special room was built and designed around the boulder that lay all over the property from long ago, giving it a very unique feel.

Kitchen and Dining:
The spacious kitchen has a wooden dining table positioned in the middle, suitable for 6 people to sit at. There are screed counters all around the kitchen, with ample cupboards and storage space. This kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need on holiday such as:

Fridge and freezer
Washing machine
Dishwasher
Microwave
Kettle
Nespresso Machine
Cutlery and Crockery
Pots and Pans

Living Area:
The lounge and living area is just off from the kitchen and up a few stairs. It has comfy sofas and built in seating areas, all positioned around a little wooden table in the center. The folding doors open onto the balcony, showing off beautiful views of the garden and out over the turquoise ocean. This room has a fire place to keep you warm and cozy in the winter.

Entertainment:
The kitchen and lounge both lead out onto a patio and wooden balcony that overlook the garden and the sea. The patio just off from the kitchen has a lovely little braai place and outside seating for you to enjoy the holiday.
The second balcony is up a small flight of stairs where the main outside dining area is located. The large wooden table and chairs can set six people, with another built in seating area with cushions and a bright blue hammock. There is no better place to sit with your friends and family to watch the sun set over the ocean with a glass of champagne in your hand!

Low Winter Season: 14 April – 14 September:
1 – 4 guests = R3,500 a night
5 – 8 guests = R4,800 a night
(3 night minimum stay) (Peak season rates will apply to Easter weekend and 4 night minimum stay)

Early Summer Season: 14 September – 14 December:
1 – 4 guests = R5,600 a night
5 – 8 guests = R7,200 a night
(3 night minimum stay)

Peak Summer Season: 14 December – 14 September:
1 – 4 guests = R9,800 a night
5 – 8 guests = R11,800 a night
(7 night minimum stay and 14 night minimum stay with Christmas and New Year)

Late Summer Season: 14 January – 14 April:
1 – 4 guests = R7,800 a night
4 – 8 guests = R8,800 a night
(3 night minimum stay) (Peak season rates will apply to Easter weekend and 4 night minimum stay)
